I did not install any specific hardware drivers for the inatek card just what windows detected on its own except the motherboard chipset driver to ensure all the motherboard features were detected. I let it detect and install the drivers for the different computer. I swapped that drive into the oculus computer and booted. I had another computer with a fresh install of windows 10 it had no other software just windows 10 and drivers. a clean windows install with literally nothing in it. So I went with one option I felt could resolve it. updated graphics drivers updated oculus software. I tried everything, windows fully updated. I did not install any inatek drivers just let windows detect it, which it did.īack to the matter at hand. I needed some more usb ports anyway so the card was not a waste, but I suspect the usb in the computer was ok for it but I am using the usb port on the fresco card. as I thought maybe the usb was the problem. I then bought an Inatek fresco controller usb add in card. ![]() windows did see it as a monitor, plug n play, but everything else showed as the rift for the usb side of things. ![]() When I got stuck at the display port not being detected error but the computer could see it, with usb 3 being detected ok. I had installed the video card and the latest amd adrenaline drivers. system is fine otherwise with specs as it was onloy a couple of years old. My card was an old card from about 2012, so I figured it was time for an upgrade. I bought a new video card prior to even attempting to install the oculus. I cannot believe their device would be bad right out of the box. Plugged in display port, says not connected but computer detects it as plug n play monitor. Plugged in usb 3.0 to usb 3.0 port detected with no issue ![]() Just went to install oculus rift s after installing and setting up the new video card on a clean install setting so all old video drivers wiped and then installed.
